Acupuncturists Without Borders Israel
AWB Israel is a non-profit organization that treats sufferers of post trauma with the 'Healing Circle' method, with than 120 volunteers from all over the country.
The sixth annual training of Acupuncturists Without Borders Israel will take place September 22-24 2019.
What do we teach?
The Healing Circle method is based on a group of practitioners treating a group of patients using NADA protocol ear acupuncture, work with ear seeds and healing qi gong.
The training takes place over a three-day retreat and includes theoretical training and clinical practice in the healing circles, as well as the psychology of treating trauma, the 5 elements approach to trauma, emotional work using the body, healing qi gong, preventing secondary trauma and more.
Who do we teach?
Practitioners of Chinese medicine, shiatsu and tuina, and students of Chinese medicine who have finished at least 3 years of study and are interested in joining the “Acupuncturists Without Borders” family and taking part in the organizations activities after the training, healing circles and professional enrichment activities in the field of emotional trauma.
The goal of the training is to provide practitioners with the appropriate professional background to treat sufferers of post-trauma, familiarity with the world of trauma and the clinical work of the organizations teams in Israel and abroad.
This is an international recognized training and the participants will be able to join in the organization's activities both in Israel and around the world.
When and where?
The training will take place September 22-24, 2019 (Sunday through Tuesday) at the guest house of Kibbutz Gvulot in the south of Israel. Participants have the option of sleeping and eating at the Kibbutz. Based on our experience, we warmly recommend staying both nights in order to benefit as much as possible from the experience of the training.
How much does it cost?
Early registration (Until July 22nd 2019) – 1,500 NIS
There is a 10% discount for members of the Israeli Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, The Israeli Chamber of Chinese Medicine, ICCM and the Shiatsu Association of Israel and for students – 1,350 NIS
Late registration July 23rd – September 22nd 2019) – 1,500 NIS
There is a 10% discount for members of the Israeli Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, The Israeli Chamber of Chinese Medicine, ICCM and the Shiatsu Association of Israel and for students – 1,620 NIS
Accommodation (2 Nights and all meals)
For one person in a 3-person room – 710 NIS
For one person in a double room – 770 NIS
For one person in a single room – 1,060 NIS
If you would like to take meals on the Kibbutz but not stay the night meals are 60 NIS each.
*The meals are kosher, and there is the option for vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free meal with advanced notice
